We assess the space, determine the correct BTU capacity for the area being conditioned, and recommend single or multi-zone configuration based on your needs and budget. We present options with pricing before any work is scheduled.

2. Mounting and Line Set

The indoor air handler is mounted in the optimal location for airflow and aesthetics. We run the refrigerant line set, electrical connections, and condensate drain through a small penetration in the wall to the outdoor unit. No ductwork required.

3. Outdoor Unit Installation

The outdoor compressor unit is mounted on a pad or wall bracket in an appropriate location with adequate clearance for airflow and maintenance access.

4. Electrical Connection

We connect the system to a dedicated circuit and verify electrical connections meet California code requirements.

5. Testing and Commissioning

We charge the system, test heating and cooling operation, verify remote or thermostat function, and confirm the system is running at correct pressures before we leave.

6. Walkthrough

We walk you through how to operate the system, set schedules, and what routine maintenance looks like (primarily filter cleaning) to keep the system running efficiently.
